Week 1: Buffalo Bills @ New York Jets

  • Date: September 9th, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey
  • How to Watch: ESPN, ABC, ESPN2
  • Final Score: Bills 16 – 22 Jets

An AFC East showdown for the first Monday Night game of the year as the Buffalo Bills visit MetLife Stadium. This will be the first look at future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers and this new Jets offense that we’ve fallen in love with after Hard Knocks. The Bills are no slouches though. Both teams are predicted to be Super Bowl contenders, and a cagey game will be on the cards as both elite defenses try and shut out two of the most exciting offenses in the league.

Week 2: New Orleans Saints @ Carolina Panthers

  • Date: September 18th, 2023
  • Time: 7:15 PM EST
  • Location: Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, North Carolina
  • How to Watch: ESPN

The first Monday night game in a Week 2 doubleheader sees an NFC South clash as the New Orleans Saints visit the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte. This will be Bryce Young’s second NFL game and second divisional game. He’ll be hoping to keep improving against one of the toughest defenses in the division.

Week 2: Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburgh Steelers

  • Date: September 18th, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: Acrisure Stadium, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
  • How to Watch: ABC

The second week 2 game sees the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Cleveland Browns. This will be a back-to-back divisional game for the Browns after playing the Bengals in week 1 and it won’t get any easier for them in week 2 when they face T.J. Watt and the rest of the Steelers defense. It’s a tough one to call with neither team looking like a clear favorite.

Week 3: Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  • Date: September 25th, 2023
  • Time: 7:15 PM EST
  • Location: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Florida
  • How to Watch: ABC

Week 3 sees the Eagles take a trip to Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Eagles will go into the game as clear favorites. The Bucs are predicted to struggle this season with Baker Mayfield at the helm. This should be an easy win for the Eagles who could put it to bed quickly.

Week 3: Los Angeles Rams @ Cincinnati Bengals

  • Date: September 25th, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: Paycor Stadium, Cincinnati, Ohio
  • How to Watch: ESPN

The Los Angeles Rams take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4. The Bengals are obvious Super Bowl contenders and should overrun the Rams who will be without Cooper Kupp for the early portion of the season. Historically, the Rams struggle without Kupp and they might not have enough offensive power to keep up with the high-flying Bengals.

Week 4: Seattle Seahawks @ New York Giants

  • Date: October 2nd, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey
  • How to Watch: ESPN

Geno Smith and his team find themselves in New Jersey for their first prime-time game of the season. They’ll face a New York Giants side led by Daniel Jones and a roulette of wide receivers. Not an easy matchup but you’d take the Seahawks with their elite secondary to shut out this Giants team.

Week 5: Green Bay Packers @ Las Vegas Raiders

  • Date: October 9th, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: Allegiant Stadium, Paradise, Nevada
  • How to Watch: ESPN

Davante Adams welcomes his old team to Allegiant Stadium as the Packers take on the Raiders. This probably can’t be considered a grudge match for Adams as a lot of the Packers team has been turned over but regardless, Adams will pop off and likely have a big game against his former team.

Week 6: Dallas Cowboys @ Los Angeles Chargers

  • Date: October 16th, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California
  • How to Watch: ESPN

Cowboys at So-Fi Stadium is a perfect set-up for the revenge game narrative. Chargers’ Offensive coordinator Kellen Moore joined this off-season from the Cowboys, and it wasn’t exactly a peaceful farewell for Moore. Cowboys’ head coach threw some shots at Moore before he left. With star quarterback Justin Herbert and his loaded offense, we can finally see who was right with their ‘philosophies’. This will be a must-watch encounter between coaching staffs.

Week 7: San Francisco 49ers @ Minnesota Vikings

  • Date: October 23rd, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, Minnesota
  • How to Watch: ESPN

Stars galore in this Monday Night matchup as Justin Jefferson, Christian McCaffrey and Nick Bosa all take center stage. The 49ers are Super Bowl contenders. They’ll be on a mission this season to make it back to the playoffs led by 2022’s Mr. Irrelevant, Brock Purdy who should be fully recovered from his elbow injury and primed for a major year running the offense.

Week 8: Las Vegas Raiders @ Detroit Lions

  • Date: October 30th, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: Ford Field, Detroit, Michigan
  • How to Watch: ESPN

Raiders vs. Lions doesn’t jump out at you as a much-watch game, but both quarterbacks are somewhat under appreciated. Both Jimmy Garoppolo and Jared Goff are quarterbacks looking for a run to the playoffs, and this one should have some fireworks in a very winnable game for both teams.

Week 9: Los Angeles Chargers @ New York Jets

  • Date: November 6th, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey
  • How to Watch: ESPN

Herbert vs. Rodgers would’ve been an all-star shootout, unfortunately with Aaron Rodgers out for the season with a torn Achilles, we’ll have to settle for Zach Wilson. Wilson has improved under Rodger’s guidance, but he won’t have enough to keep up with Justin Herbert and co. The Jets’ defense will have to be playing on top of their game to get a win here.

Week 10: Denver Broncos @ Buffalo Bills

  • Date: November 13th, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, New York
  • How to Watch: ESPN

Over midway through the regular season, Sean Payton should have sorted the Broncos out by now. Assuming he has, this prime-time game @ Buffalo should be fantastic with talented players on both sides of the ball. We can’t forget about Von Miller too who will be back by Week 10. The Super Bowl 50 MVP will be raring to go against his former team, and should make a major difference to the Bills pass rush.

Week 11: Philadelphia Eagles @ Kansas City Chiefs

  • Date: November 20th, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City
  • How to Watch: ESPN

The best Monday Night Game by a landslide as we’re treated to a replay of last year’s Super Bowl when the Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs. Both teams are still Super Bowl contenders, and the Eagles will be looking for revenge while the Chiefs will be wanting to make a statement by beating the Eagles convincingly. This potential Super Bowl preview should not be missed.

Week 12: Chicago Bears @ Minnesota Vikings

  • Date: November 27th, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, Minnesota
  • How to Watch: ESPN

No Turducken this year for Kirk Cousins but he will close out the Thanksgiving weekend with a visit from divisional rivals, the Chicago Bears. The Lions hype train means a lot of people have them winning the NFC North. Realistically though, both the Bears and Vikings have every chance of topping the division and this game could be crucial come the end of the season.

Week 13: Cincinnati Bengals @ Jacksonville Jaguars

  • Date: December 4th, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: TIAA Bank Field, Jacksonville, Florida
  • How to Watch: ESPN

Two former #1 overall picks go head-to-head in this week 13 matchup. Getting towards the clutch time of the season. On paper, this looks like a potential win for the Bengals, but this could be a much closer game than anticipated. Trevor Lawrence seems to get better with every game he plays. With the addition of star receiver Calvin Ridley, the Jags could give the Bengals a run for their money.

Week 14: Tennessee Titans @ Miami Dolphins

  • Date: Monday December 11th, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida
  • How to Watch: ESPN

Titans @ Dolphins could be an interesting game, featuring stars like Derrick Henry, Tyreek Hill, and DeAndre Hopkins. There are questions about both teams when it comes to their quarterbacks though. Given Tua’s injury history, the Dolphins will be hoping for a healthy season throughout, and the Titans might be trailing Malik Willis or Will Levis by this point in the season. This game could go either way, but a shoot-out is entirely possible down in Miami.

Week 14: Green Bay Packers @ New York Giants

  • Date: Monday December 11th, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey
  • How to Watch: ABC

These two teams both have something to prove this season, with the Packers finally moving on to Jordan Love as the starting quarterback, and the Giants having paid Daniel Jones to be the future at the position in New York.

Jordan Love’s tenure has been a long time coming and is met with eager anticipation in what will be a young, but potentially underrated offense.

Saquon Barkley is back in the mix for the Giants, and Brian Daboll will be looking to improve on a phenomenal first year in charge.

Week 15: Kansas City Chiefs @ New England Patriots

  • Date: Monday December 18th, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, Massachusetts
  • How to Watch: ESPN

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce find themselves in Boston a week before Christmas. The New England Patriots and Mac Jones will be looking to spoil the party and cause an upset as they host the Super Bowl Champions down the stretch in the AFC.

This meeting might not hold quite as much juice as it used to when Tom Brady was around, but Mac Jones has a tonne to prove this year, and Bill Belichicks defense always comes to play.

Week 16: Baltimore Ravens @ San Francisco 49ers

  • Date: December 25th, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, California
  • How to Watch: ABC

The Ravens have generated a lot of hype due to new offensive coordinator Todd Monken. He should get Lamar throwing more,  and with a receiving corps including of OBJ, Rashod Bateman, Zay Flowers, and elite tight end Mark Andrews, the Ravens could have all the tools to compete with a very strong 49ers team who will be looking to finish their season strong and secure the top spot in the NFC.

Week 17: Detroit Lions @ Dallas Cowboys

  • Date: December 30th, 2023
  • Time: 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas
  • How to Watch: ESPN

This could be a preview of an NFC playoff game with both teams tipped to reach the post-season. There will be teams will have nothing to play for in week 17, but if all goes to plan for the Lions and Cowboys, they could be fighting over which seed they might land in when the playoffs get underway. This could be a blockbuster of a game.
