This is a fascinating NFC North matchup between the two sides that are tied at the top of the division. Jordan Love has enjoyed a fantastic start to his career as a starter, passing for 7 touchdowns and only 1 interception in the first three weeks of the season, leading the Packers to a 2-1 record. The Lions came into the season as favourites to win the division and are playing well with Jared Goff at the helm. Who will leave Thursday Night Football in pole position in the NFC North?

Justin Fields’ struggles in 2023 have been well documented, and he will be under the spotlight of Prime Time football in week 5. Can he get past Chase Young and the Washington defense to lead the Bears to a much-needed victory? On the Commanders side of the ball, Sam Howell will be under pressure as well. Can he become the franchise quarterback that the team has been looking for for so long? Thursday Night Football is a great platform to show what he can do.
Week 6: Denver Broncos @ Kansas City Chiefs
- Date: October 12th, 2023
- Time: 8:15 PM ET
- Location: Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, Missouri
- How to Watch: Amazon Prime Video
The AFC West will be the focus of Thursday Night Football in week 6, with the Denver Broncos paying a visit to Arrowhead Stadium. Sean Payton’s tenure in Denver got off to a rocky start in 2023, but a shock victory over the reigning Super Bowl Champs would put him very much in the good books of Broncos’ fans.
Week 7: Jacksonville Jaguars @ New Orleans Saints
- Date: October 19th, 2023
- Time: 8:15 PM ET
- Location: Caesars Superdome, New Orleans, Louisiana
- How to Watch: Prime Video.
Trevor Lawrence will be tested by New Orleans’ tough defensive unit in week 7’s matchup. Can his offensive line handle Carl Granderson, Cam Jordan and company in front of their home crowd? It will be loud and hostile in the Superdome, and the Jags will have to be on point if they are to put up points in this one.

Week 9: Tennessee Titans @ Pittsburgh Steelers

- Time: 8:15 PM ET
- Location: Acrisure Stadium, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
- How to Watch: Prime Video.
Tennessee heads to Pennsylvania for a Thursday Night clash with the Steelers in week 9. The Titans don’t have much to be excited about on offense in 2023, and they will be hoping that Derrick Henry can inspire a good performance against a strong Steelers defense led by TJ Watt.
Week 10: Carolina Panthers @ Chicago Bears
- Date: November 9th, 2023
- Time: 8:15 PM ET
- Location: Soldier Field, Chicago, Illinois
- How to Watch: Prime Video.
The Bears take center stage for the second time this season, this time welcoming Bryce Young and the Panthers to Soldier Field. This is a battle between the two teams that swapped picks at the top of the first round in this year’s draft. It’s fair to say that Bears fans will be hoping Fields can outplay Young and banish any thoughts about what could have been…
Week 11: Cincinnati Bengals @ Baltimore Ravens
- Date: November 16th, 2023
- Time: 8:15 PM ET
- Location: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, Maryland
- How to Watch: Prime Video.
One of the fiercest rivalries in the NFL will be on display in week 11, with the Cincinnati Bengals facing off against the Baltimore Ravens. The Bengals had dominated this fixture over the last few seasons, but it was the Ravens who emerged victorious in their week two showdown this year. Can they complete the clean sweep over their AFC North rivals?

- Date: November 24th, 2023
- Time: 3:00 PM ET
- Location: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey
- How to Watch: Prime Video.

Week 13 – Seattle Seahawks @ Dallas Cowboys
- Date: November 30th, 2023
- Time: 8:15 PM ET
- Location: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas
- How to Watch: Prime Video.
The Dallas Cowboys have got everything they need for a massive year in 2023, and winning Prime Time games like this are a key indicator that they mean business. The Seahawks have playmakers all over their offense and they will be a handful for a Cowboys defense that lost Trevon Diggs to injury earlier in the season.
Week 14 – New England Patriots @ Pittsburgh Steelers
- Date: December 7th, 2023
- Time: 8:15 PM ET
- Location: Acrisure Stadium, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
- How to Watch: Prime Video.
Bill Belichick has a track record of making life very difficult for inexperienced quarterbacks, and he will have his Patriots’ defense primed and ready to challenge Kenny Pickett and the Steelers. Pickett will need to be quick and efficient in finding his playmakers, with Diontae Johnson and George Pickens having very important roles to play in this one.
Week 15 – Los Angeles Chargers @ Las Vegas Raiders
- Date: December 14th, 2023
- Time: 8:15 PM ET
- Location: Allegiant Stadium, Paradise, Nevada
- How to Watch: Amazon Prime.
2023 is a big year for Brandon Staley and the Los Angeles Chargers, who have built up a reputation of underwhelming in the biggest moments. Justin Herbert is one of the best quarterbacks in the league and he should have no problem picking apart a Raiders defense that has struggled in recent years.

- Time: 8:15 PM ET
- Location: SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California
- How to Watch: Amazon Prime, NFL Redzone, or Streaming Platforms.
The Los Angeles Rams started strong in 2023, much to the surprise of many in the NFL industry who had them pegged as one of the worst rosters in the NFL. Hopefully, they can keep it up all year and offer up a challenge to the Saints’ vaunted defense. The Saints will be hoping that they are putting the finishing touches onto a successful 2023 campaign that sees them take a wide-open NFC South. If the Falcons have been able to keep it close, there could be a lot on the line for New Orleans here.
Week 17 – New York Jets @ Cleveland Browns
- Date: December 28th, 2023
- Time: 8:15 PM ET
- Location: First Energy Stadium, Cleveland, Ohio
